Perhaps it is the characteristic self-indulgent nature of a business major...or perhaps just a senior. Either way, it took a CNBC special to get me interested in the current political situation in France. Today, Jim Cramer (host of Mad Money and all-around Wall Street guru) did his entire show on how France may be opening up to globalization. Cramer is in favor of Sarkozy for his capitalist notions.
On the other hand, another CNBC analyst, Geoff Cutmore, disagrees and argues that whether Sarkozy or Royal is elected, little will change. As Cutmore states it, "there is no new Thatcher or Blair for France!"
Note: I would add hyperlinks to pages of interest, yet when I wrote this post earlier this evening, the entire thing was deleted, so I'll play it safe for now... Links to be added later.
